  • Based on an acoustic door construction tested at Rw = 39 dB (VTT-S-01263-14), measured without the lead shielding layer.

  • MDF face panels with a 2 mm lead layer for dB/RTG2 (2 x 1.0 mm), or 3 mm lead for dB/RTG3 (2 x 1.5 mm)
  • 3 mm hardboard
  • Core material with high sound insulation
  • Softwood framing
  • Bonded assembly with urea-resin adhesive
  • Vertical edges finished with melamine edging for painted doors or veneer edging for veneered doors
  • Seal in the door rebate

  • Standard frame 42 x 92 mm; rebate 12 x 41 mm
  • Seal
  • Frame depth to match the wall thickness, available to order

Threshold

  • Supplied without a threshold as standard
  • An automatic drop-down seal is recommended
