Cookie policy

About cookies

Our website uses cookies to improve the user experience (tracking cookies) and enable features (functional cookies). A cookie is a text file stored on your computer for a set period when you visit a website. You can configure your browser not to store cookies, although this may reduce functionality or prevent use of the service. Advertising cookies help Kiilax Oy select content it considers most relevant to you.

Tracking cookies

We collect usage statistics to monitor and improve the website and plan marketing.

Google Analytics Demographics also collects audience and interest information, linking tracking data with details such as age, gender and interests. You can change related settings in your Google account. You can disable Google Analytics tracking with the browser add-on.

User tracking

We use Leadoo tracking to follow users’ movements on the website and combine this with information collected, for example, through chat interactions. Leadoo uses ETag tracking rather than cookie-based tracking and combines information across sessions. See Leadoo Marketing Technologies Oy’s privacy policy for what is tracked. For GDPR purposes, we act as controller and Leadoo as processor. If you do not want to be tracked, you can clear your browser cache. More information is available in Leadoo’s processor privacy policy.

Third-party providers, including Google, HubSpot and Facebook, may use cookies or web beacons (tracking pixels) to show particular advertisements across websites. Their technology measures the effectiveness of marketing communications and advertisements. Information collected through cookies and web beacons does not reveal the user’s name to Kiilax Oy. Third-party advertisers use website tracking pixels to collect anonymous information for personalised marketing content about products and services.

Functional cookies

Features requiring login or other identification need cookies to work. The cookie holds the necessary user information and is deleted when its period expires or the user logs out.

Other identifiers

Use of the website records identifiers in server and website logs, including IP address, pages opened, files requested and any errors. We also collect interface usage data, such as saved actions, heatmaps and form usage. The purposes are marketing targeting, monitoring and development, and continuous improvement of resilience and information security.
